Cartier Queen’s Cup semi final

So it wasn’t to be a repeat performance for King Power Foxes this year, as they took their first defeat in the Cartier Queen’s Cup tournament. The Foxes couldn’t quite pull it out of the bag in time, as a final penalty awarded to La Indiana sealed the foxes fate. Nonetheless it was a very exciting game with both teams keeping pace with each other and some incredible action, including an amazing penalty save by Facundo Pieres who went on to take the ball to the other end and put it between the posts, amazing. As soon as play started so did the rain, a school boy error on my part meant I had to down gear and rum back to the truck to get my waterproofs, and I’m glad I did, as the heavens opened and stayed that way for the first three chukkas. Here a re a few pics of the day, well done to La Indiana, and it should be a very exciting final on Saturday. Time now for King Power to re-group and get stuck into the Gold Cup, starting in just under two weeks time.
